Hello Brother and Sisters

We hope that everyone finds our redesigned web site more user friendly and informative. We will work continuously to keep it updated with current information that will be helpful.

Our area has been through a slow work period due to the delay of several projects proposed over the last year. But now, that seems to have changed with some of these projects finally starting.

The John Amos Powerhouse Scrubber project is underway and should build in man power over the next few months.

 We hope to have the Western Greenbrier powerhouse starting in early summer, and the Bluestone Dam Hydro- Power house starting mid summer.

There are also several Commercial projects starting on the University of Charleston campus including a Pharmacy School, Dental School, Dorms, and a new athletic facility.

It looks like 2006 is going to be a good year for work for the members of Local 466, which is good news for a change.

In the future you will also be able to keep up with upcoming Local Union events planed.
