Hello Brothers and Sisters,

We welcome you back to our newly designed Web site. The new site has been changed to be more user friendly. We hope that we can provide more frequently updated information and better services to the Membership.
The work picture looks good for the whole jurisdiction; as long as all proposed jobs do make it from the planning stages. Most of the jobs are Industrial and as has happened in the past, we don’t want to forget our Commercial Market. The Commercial Market provides the base to our Local Union and we want to continue to build on what we have, not let it drop off.
The last few years have been tough on Organized Labor in a lot of ways. Every time Unions are talked about, it is always negative. The Members of Local 466 have decided that in order for our Union to be stronger, we need to project a better image of ourselves. We want people to see us for what we are, highly skilled workers on the job and active citizens in our communities. The main fight for the Union is to secure a living wage and benefits for the working people of America. Without a Union, we feel, the working class would have neither.
